Yaskawa America has been independently certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the international standard for information-security management systems, following a third-party audit by EAGLE Certification Group.

The certification caps a three-year initiative spanning the company's technology, operations and organizational practices, and makes Yaskawa the first organization certified under EAGLE's newly ANAB-accredited ISO/IEC 27001:2022 program.

For a robot maker whose controllers and networks sit deep inside customers' plants, it's a credential aimed at reassuring buyers that the security of that connection has been checked by someone other than Yaskawa itself.
