KUKA has rolled out the KR Titan ultra, a heavy-payload robot rated at 1,500 kg with a 4,200 mm reach — built to manoeuvre batteries, tooling and entire automotive body components.

The launch pairs with a refreshed KR Cybertech range: two new 25 kg and 35 kg models with a rigid wrist, the compact KR C5 slim controller and the iiQKA.OS2 operating system.

The through-line is scale at both ends — bigger reach and payload for battery and body-in-white work, and a simpler control stack to make the mid-range easier to deploy.
