Grid Dynamics and Doosan Robotics team up on a physical-AI stack for cobots

Grid Dynamics has struck a strategic partnership with Doosan Robotics to bring its GAIN Platform for Physical AI to Doosan's collaborative-robot customers, bundling AI-model deployment, workflow creation and digital-twin monitoring for robotic lines into one stack.

The target jobs are the ones that trip up conventional robot software: handling parts with irregular geometry, assembling components with real-world variability, and packaging soft or unseen items.

It's another instance of a pattern running through 2026 — software and AI specialists pairing off with established cobot and robot builders rather than building hardware themselves, betting that the integration work is where the value now sits.
