ABB and Fronius show a dual-station robotic welding cell

ABB put collaboration — human and machine — at the centre of a robotic welding cell built around its GoFa cobot and Fronius welding equipment.

The dual-station design keeps the arc busy: the operator loads one table while the robot welds on the other, and 3D vision tracks the weld seam automatically to absorb part-to-part variation.

For fabricators short on skilled welders, it's a pragmatic template — a cobot that raises throughput without caging off the workspace.
