ABB adds a vision-guided autonomous forklift to its robot line

ABB Robotics has expanded its autonomous mobile robot lineup with the Flexley Stack F712, a vision-guided autonomous forklift for manufacturing and warehousing.

Rather than relying on floor markers or reflectors, the F712 uses visual SLAM to map and navigate its surroundings, works alongside other robots, and complies with industrial safety standards.

It is a step toward more flexible, infrastructure-free intralogistics — where robots adapt to the building instead of the building being rebuilt for the robots.
